Less & Lesser
Producer’ Note
PANCHA-Less & Lesser marks the fourth instalment of the PANCHA series which began back in 2016. The aim of PANCHA then (and now) was to bring an awareness of social issues plaguing our community. We know that doing this might not eradicate the problem… but at least it will create an awareness of the problem and bring like-minded people together to create a positive social change!
Since we embarked on this series, we have touched on several issues ranging from: war, patriarch, domestic sexual abuse and now; the issue of growing older! Through the productions, we have managed to incorporate various medium to bring our message across to audiences. With the onset of Covid-19, live performances has virtually come to a standstill! Never the less we have managed to create more opportunities to bring our message through alternative mediums. In this, case, digital online media. This gave us the opportunity to be able to reach a wider audience and from places a faraway.
With this, I would like to invite you to look through this website of Less & Lesser, and its different elements to better understand the challenges faced by our seniors.
Remember it just takes one person to make a difference. Let’s all be that one person.
Thank you.
Cheers,

Join those who sing, tell stories, enjoy life and have happiness in their eyes. Because happiness is contagious and always manages to keep people from being paralyzed by depression, loneliness and troubles – Paulo Coelho
It made space between us and especially seniors less and lesser; we saw and heard less of people, the reduction of space incurred fear of an unknown demon and yet we continued to make art with one of those communities who are vulnerable to the pandemic – the seniors. They came forward to share their stories, and that warm gesture comforted our hearts. The seniors’ resilience and tenacity gave us confidence to pursue, to dream and to share our space. The generosity of the collaborators and the urge to connect again to make art gives us hope that we are all in this together, carving yet a new path forward.
Less and Lesser – a new beginning. A story about The Space of resilience, care, connection, aspirations, and togetherness with tenacity.
Till death do us apart – we persuade and support each other to continue 😁
Yes the Space – Aether that holds people that brings the abundance
The possibilities, the opportunities, the connections, dignity and the persons bring the care, love, respect and wisdom that translates into memories, resilience and experience
So Space and People are inseparable
It’s like the old saying
When you tell me who are your friends, I will get to know who you are.
Enjoy, PANCHA-Less and Lesser.
Yours sincerely,
