Do youths of today have anything in common with their seniors?

Yes. More than you think!

Youths of today often have several things in common with seniors despite the generational differences.

Shared values, emotions, and fundamental human experiences create a strong bond between generations.

Through the “91124” initiative, youths from Temasek Polytechnic and their senior counterparts showcase a day in their lives. This project illustrates how both generations experience similar daily routines, challenges, and moments of joy. It also showcased how technology, family, friendships, aspirations, and the pursuit of happiness are themes that resonate across age groups.

By observing a full day in the lives of both youths and seniors, viewers can gain insights into the shared experiences, struggles, and triumphs that connect these generations.

This first-hand look can break down stereotypes and foster a greater understanding between youths and seniors, promoting intergenerational harmony and mutual respect.
